For over a year I have pointed out that this country is so radically divided no constructive dialogue can occur on Facebook.  Of course the Tea Party makes this impossible since their operating principles are: DON'T GIVE IN AND NEVER COMPROMISE.  This is the same road block faced by Israel.  A hysterical pressure to negotiate with the Palestinians, who have given their political support to Hamas, Hezbollah (whose stated purpose is to wipe Israel off the map), and Yasser Arafat, one of the greatest con-men in history.  After his death, his wife went to England for medical care and carried with her over 100 BILLION DOLLARS, that Yasser had pocketed (the donations from wealth Muslims had donated to the Palestinian cause).

 Now young women, including Americans, are volunteering to join ISIS and become suicide bombers.  Absolute madness by those who are uneducated, ignorant of history, and have lost all sense of basic human values (common to all the great profits, Mohammed, Jesus of Nazareth, Buddha, Gandhi which boils down to the Christian version of the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".  This applies to those who follow the wise teachings as the only way our species can live together in harmony.

 HOWEVER IT DOES NOT APPLY TO THE INSTITUTIONS FORMED TO SPREAD THE MESAGE OF THE SAINTS. The churches, mosques, and all manner of religious groups that give "lip service" to the true teachings, but whose real interest is controlling others and dishing out as much misery to the "non-believers" including sects that have slightly different versions of "The Truth", and go about killing each other from an ancient tribal organization.  Governance by brutality and death doesn't work and has never worked.  It just causes a never-ending cycle of revenge killings.  Fortunately, there is HOPE. Quite hard to believe, given the mass media's constant portrayal of the world as a very dangerous place, top-notch researchers and scholars have studied the fact that the world has become a safer place at a steady rate for centuries, and this includes the last 30 years!  Steve Pinker and many others have researched this counter intuitive fact intensely and documented the facts and proposed theories of the how and why this has happened. I have posted these documents on Facebook (yesterday), and well not repeat them now.  But look it up and be amazed.
