United Nations Discipline Saudi’s

United Nations Discipline Saudi’s

The Saudi's housed and funded the Wahhabists, the most radical Islamic theorists. They are the main proponents of returning Islam to the days when organized Islam interpreted Mohammed as being in favor of violence against those who did not practice an ultra strict fundamentalist doctrine including vile and brutal punishment of those not in compliance with doctrine as they saw it. Taliban/ISIS style: cutting off the hands of those believed to be stealing etc. This extends to non-believers and the obliteration of Israel,  which is the sole stated purpose of Hamas and Hezbollah. The Israeli's have taken a lot of flack lately, but how do you negotiate with people whose goal is to destroy you????? The Palestinians put their political power in the hand of these militant groups and supported and funded them and Yasser Arafat, one of the greatest con-men in history. After the Clinton Accord in the mid 90's, he quickly decided to give the go ahead for suicide bombing. When he died his wife went to England for medical treatment and carried with her Arafat's stash of over 100 BILLION DOLLARS!!!! ISIS makes the Taliban look tame and their governance is based solely on terror and some of the most diabolical brutality ever known. ISIS has appeal to every sociopath in Islamic culture. Yes they have 0.9% sociopaths like every other group of people on the planet. These sociopaths are attracted to ISIS because they get to kill and brutalize anyone who doesn't cop to the Wahhabists views. They, as all sociopaths do, not only are genetically programed to cause misery but they actually gain PLEASURE from these acts.

They are a huge threat to all Islamic cultures as they will kill 20+times as many Muslims as Europeans. They are unorganized and undisciplined and have no leadership. Just an assault rifle and a license to kill. In no way do they remotely practice the teaching of Mohammed, who taught tolerance and the Islamic version of the Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", which is the same fundamental teaching of all the great profits: Jesus of Nazareth, Buddha, Gandhi. The great minds knew that the Golden Rule was the only way our species could live together peacefully. The Islamic cultures could do a great deal to stop this madness. Every community knows who the sociopaths are; they are the troublemakers even at an early age. As teenagers they are involved in violent crime, theft, drug addiction and all manner of being "bad". The Muslims can identify these misfits and turn them over for psychiatric evaluation before they disappear to an ISIS "training center", and then plunge into their world of brutal mayhem.

Intelligence states that ISIS plans several more Paris type attacks (200 dead), but the Europeans are taking care of themselves in this matter.  The Belgiums, with Special Forces in full battle regalia, patrolling all well populated public places, has deterred whatever plans ISIS had planned.  Young French men and women are volunteering by the thousands for the military, intelligence, and all manner of services that can thwart ISIS.  This is a behavior NEVER SEEN IN FRANCE BEFORE!  The French have historically been more interested in good food and architecture than anything military.  In warfare they have been consistently incompetent, as the Maginot Line illustrated (Rommel’s Panzers tanks drove around the fortified line through Belgium and had control of France in three short weeks).

The Source of the Greatest Number of innocent Victims is in The USA

The Source of the Greatest Number of innocent Victims is in The USA

January 18, 2016

If this doesn’t shock you, it should.  Allow me to explain.
Starting in the 60’s when America went car crazy, 50,000 deaths and 150,000 disabled occurred and the reason 90+% were caused by drunk driving.  50,000 is the number of soldiers in the Vietnam war.

Auto safety devices (which the GOP fought against) like air bags and crumple zones, reduced the numb of fatalities to 30,000 by the 90’s.

The math: 50,000 per year in the 60’s 70’s & 80’s = 150,000
30,000 per year in the 90’s 2000 through 2009 and approx. 20,00 in 2010-2016= 80,000 for a grand (not really grand but tragic) total of 230,000.  (please do not nit pick the numbers, every caretaker involved in treating the victims of MVA's (motor vehicle accidents)), the police, the EMT's and the surgeons at the hospitals.  Each group has a different estimate of what percentage of the deadly MVA's are alcohol related, because the importance of the concept is what matters.  Does it matter if one group or another has an estimate of 10,000 more or less
really matter? I think not.  The concept here is the enormous number of innocent causalities  that occur on American roads.

That is more than all the victims of innocent deaths in the same time period, except the Iraq war which is estimated that 250,000 civilians were killed.  Our loss of soldiers was 8,000.

This is even more despicable because a solution is known.  The French have a tough law: DWI and you go strait to jail for 2 years.  No trial, no appeals.  Result: France has only a handful of fatalities.  The French love their wine and at night everyone has been drinking.  If they drink away from home, they take a taxi or some other alternative to driving.

So why doesn’t our government adopt these tough laws that have been proven to work?  Lawmaking in the USA, at both the Federal and State levels is not done in the conference rooms but at cocktail “parties” where virtually everyone is drunk or has enough alcohol to make them illegal drivers.

Shame on us for not pressuring our law makers to pass tough laws like the French.  The politicians don’t want such laws because the would be the first to get caught and penalized.  Or they could change there behavior.  Do we want our lawmakers drunk while negotiating our laws. I don’t think so.  No, I know we want sober politicians.  Sober politicians would legislate better.
So “My Fellow Americans” (as LBJ used to say) let’s turn of the TV’s, video games and other distractions and get this job done.  30,000 innocent lives per year depend on taking this action.

The fact that we have already lost 230,000 lives, is shameful.

But we can do better.  There is a shift in the effectiveness of the 99% protesting efforts.  There have several victories, like forcing Shell oil to abandon a plan to develop drilling and pipe lines in the Alaskan wilderness.

By the way, there is another level of resistance to changing our laws to have more aggressive laws to protect the population:  The majority of politicians in both State (especially Texas) and Federal legislatures are sociopaths, and they do not care and are biologically incapable of caring, about the massive number of innocent people killed by drunk driving.  However, their resistance can be overcome by massive uprising of the 99%.

Another major to everyone who drives in our cities (90% of the population) is the stress of driving.  The speeds and poor driving skills of the average American, activates the "fight or flight" system: and this elevates our blood pressure, heart rate and releases chemical messengers that increases our stress, even when we are not aware of it.  Those who drive in heavy traffic (rush hour in the morning and evening after getting off work) and particular at high speeds on the freeways, are in a chronic state of physiological stress which wares us down over time, even when we feel like we are "used to" it.

So even when we feel like we are used to it and are not conscious of the chronic stress of driving, we have our life spans shortened by daily driving.

Infectious Disease Epidemic in Southern California

Infectious Disease Epidemic in Southern California

November 30, 2015

The Californians who wait to decide to migrate until they run out of water in a very few months, will face an epidemic of infectious disease.
The only way to clean one’s hands of the fecal/oral viruses is with soap and water.  Hand sanitizers only kill bacterial sources of infection like salmonella, shigella, and staph; but are useless against viral sources of gastrointestinal infections such as Hepatitis A, and possibly C (how this virus is spread is still a mystery); the seasonal GI infections that cause diarrhea nausea and vomiting, that are normally self limiting diseases; and the Norwalk virus that is threatening to destroy the cruise ship business. Several gallons of water a day will be needed just for cleaning the hands, not to mention cleaning the contaminated linens and clothing.  These facts are well documented in both Infectious Disease and Family Medicine literature.  If these facts aren’t bad enough, several of these GI viruses can survive on fomites (objects like counter tops, toilets, and soiled clothing and linens) for long periods of time, especially the Norwalk virus.

Imagine starting a LOOONG migration car ride with a person in the car having emesis and diarrhea.

In short EVERYONE will be sick.  The young and old will perish for the lack of IV hydration because the hospitals, corporations only interested in profit, will abandon the drought sickened areas.

The survivors who make it to Texas will be carriers of these diseases and present a crisis for medical facilities in Texas.  The optimum tactic would be to quarantine the Californians, but since the Government is not planning to do ANYTHING to help these desperate people, Texans will suffer from the same Infectious Diseases as the Californians to a lesser degree.

Civil War in Texas

Civil War in Texas
A Strange Strange Attractor

I had decided to take a break from political commentating, but unusual changes are in the air.

Southern California has 20 million people whose water supply will vanish in about 6 months.  This number was determined by an independent company using state of the art equipment.  This study was initiated by Governor Brown and he made the results public.  The effected public ignored the report initially, but recently some districts have reduced their water consumption by 30 to 40%.  Optimism rose, but these number are meaningless when there is only 6 months of water remaining.  A decade ago these conservation measures would have made a difference.  It is my contention that Californians think of the drought like they think of earthquake: a short period of inconvenience because there is little damage since the building codes have made most important structures “earthquake proof”.

The core issue is one that is the curse of this country: rich vs poor.  The water usage restrictions have not been applied to agriculture because The rich and powerful own all of the highly profitable desert made vital by irrigation.  The now super rich who own the desert land that they purchased for a pittance decades ago, have grown enormously richer and politically powerful, riding on the backs of poor Latinos and water from the giant damns in Arizona and Nevada.  This drama was superbly portrayed in the movie “Chinatown”, one of Jack Nickolson’s finest performances.  The movie is portrayed as being in an earlier era perhaps pre-WWII> jest of the plot is that the rich landowners were willing to kill to gain control of the water. Nothing has changed.  Gov Brown has done an admiral job trying to manage an impossible situation, but confronting the rich and powerful, and wrestling control of the water from them is a dangerous task.  It would take a Referindum (90% of California’s State income is earmarked by the Referinums and the Governor actually has only a tiny (considering that California has the 5th largest economy in the world) amount of money to use to solve problems as exemplified by this drought.

The super rich will do ANYTHING to defeat such a referendum, and they will do many things to drag the process out over time.  Even if their “ownership” of the water were taken away, there is a host of nefarious acts they can use to “punish” those who led the rebellion that stripped them of the life blood that fuels their ever growing fortunes.  Besides, in terms of saving the residents, it would come far too late, as only 6 months of water remain.  Futhermore, it is too late to do anything that would benefit the masses and give them any viable option other than to migrate, which is by far their best option even though the public hasn’t figured that out yet.

So, Brown is frozen.  Fearful of making any recommendation as to what people should do.  He is especially wary of migration as that would threaten the labor force for the wealthy land owners.

Unlike earthquakes, drought of the current magnitude is a slow grinding, but deadly affair.  As a result few are making plans to leave.  However, a real estate agent, who handled our re-fi, told us today that the Californians are already arriving at a rate of 100/day.  That small number, which will grow grow grow as the dry date gets nearer.  All the real estate and motel rooms will be taken long before the mass of Californians arrive.

Why Texas?  Texas has everything these desperate migrators need:
1)   water
2)   jobs due to a booming economy
3)   a high growth rate (Austin has been the fastest growing large city 2.5 million, in the country for over a decade)
4)   three of the 10 largest cities in the country (Houston, Dallas/Fort Worth and San Antonio)
5)   Size which gives it room to grow and easily accommodate 3 times the current population of 26.5 million.
6)   There are two other regions that ample water, the lower Great Lakes and the Southeast. But both those areas have high unemployment rates, depressed economies, and no available housing.  They also have no political clout in Washington DC, and for the weary migrants to continue for another 1000 miles will be repugnant.  It is my opinion that they will make their stand and demand what they deserve in Texas.  Texas importance guarantees that they will be heard all across the nation.

But there is a Texas size problem.  The Governor and the Legislature are controlled by the Tea Party, which would like to just ignore the migrants and let them die.  Think I’m kidding?  Read the Tea Party platform and their voting record.

Let’s walk through a very conservative scenario.  Assume only 5 million (25% of those who will loose their water supply), after an dangerous and arduous journey (the two interstates will be like parking lots with the enormous volume of traffic and averaging 10 mph or less) will render the migrants furious.  No government agency at any level, and no NGO (non government organization) even has a plan to make a plan to help this mass of people).  Summary: America will fail its first encounter with migration due to Global Warming MISERABLY.

The cities of Texas will have unwelcome hoards of homeless people.  5 million divided by 4, means over one million per city.  There has been no thought or planning for this aspect either.  The State Capitol will certainly attract a couple of million people demanding that the Radical Right Wing government render some aid, and they have a right to it: certainly food, clothing and shelter.  These are not ordinary homeless people, but people with high tech and other skills.  The Tea Party, whose operating tactics include: never compromise and never change your mind.  The Government will be frozen, and the rage will escalate.  Among the migrators will be thousands of Texans demanding action to get these homeless off the streets.

Austin’s mayor, with a reputation of being a hard line right winger, will either panic or succumb to the pressure from the Legislature and support from the Governor, will likely order law enforcement “to clear the streets and use lethal force if necessary”.  If the local law enforcement gets suckered into carrying out this cruel, sordid and vicious order, they will find that many of the demonstrators are well armed and include a large number of vets.  The police will be outnumbered and under armed.  The police will be killed in large numbers.

Can you hear the explosion when innocent people demanding water to sustain the lives of themselves and their families, are fired upon!  The streets will be clogged with people and their will be no escape.

If the mayor calls in reinforcements from the national guard, Obama, a cool head that never panics, will send the active army form Fort Hood (only an hour away).  Their instructions will be to protect the citizens from the police.

Cars: every road between the Pacific Ocean to Houston will be litered with vehicles.  Break downs, running out of gas etc. they will be abandoned where they are, but they obstruct traffic and are a safety hazard.  The locals will resent having these abandoned vehicles clog EVERY road.  Economics will suffer because of the difficulty in moving stuff around.  Bulldozing them into a pit might be the only short term solution, but will cause problems later.  AND this migration will drag out for at least 3 years.  The small towns will not have the money to do this, so funding will have to come from somewhere else.  This is an example how the lack of planning will make thing much worse.

Theft: if you and your wife and three children are dying of dehydration, would you steal water to keep the alive?  I know I would.  But locals will have no empathy, and will shoot to kill those “damn Californians.”  Other forms of resentment will likely give birth to vigalantee groups the with the threat of force, armed with shotguns, keep migrants out of their towns.  This will psychologically devastating to the migrants.  “Why do they hate us.?

Families with children who have never experienced and difficulty will provoke painful arguments ultimately told to “shut the fuck up”.  Adolescents, in that phase that they feel they will live forever and know everything, will just get out of the car, and become someone else’s problem, and a big one at that.

The 2016 elections will result in the fastest 180 degree change in power in the history of this country.  In addition the uprising will spread to other cities as the public wakes up to the decades of abuse and neglect dished out by the GOP.

Who would have ever guessed that the Strange Attractor (a term from Chaos Theory), that started a massive reconstruction of the Federal Government, would be a drought in California.
